I can not wait till their wedding. There are times when I meet couples and I just fall in love, and these are one of those couples. I love these two, they are so easy going, so fun and so in love. And we were blessed with a beautiful day, even in this crazy Chicago winter we are having, the sun decided to show, it even helped warm us up.

This was a beautiful wedding!! Every detail was amazing, and the bride and groom...top notch! Yesenia and Gabriel made me feel like I was one of their friends in the wedding, not someone they hired for their wedding day. Not to mention their family and friends were just as amazing.

Yesenia, you look amazing and so beautiful, you were one of the coolest, calmest, and best brides I have been able to ever work with. And Gabriel, you are a catch! I loved watching you watch Yesenia. Your eyes tell it all, the love you two have is a love that will last lifetimes! I am truly blessed you allowed me to be a part of your special day, and for that I thank you!

A special shout out to my all time favorite wedding planner who made Yesenia and Gabriel's day magical, Sharokina from Citygirl Weddings. You are amazing, and if any future brides are reading this, Sharokina makes your day unfold into something amazing. This way you get to sit back and enjoy it! So bravo Shar!

Also a shout out to my favorite makeup artist Vanessa from Vanessa's Art of Beauty. Like we were talking about that morning, there are makeup ladies that come to these weddings and then their are makeup ARTISTS, and you are an artist. I love your talent!

And lastly, I have to give props for Angel the DJ. I have come across so many DJ's who just pop in a cd, or hit play on a computer, not Angel. He gets the people on the dance floor, and he gets the party started! Bravo Angel from Spark Chicago DJ's.

I met this couple years ago at the Varda wedding. Another one of the many couple I have been blessed to photograph on their special day. Right off the bat I feel in love with Ryan and Jessica. Ryan even made me dance on the dance floor with him and at one point decided I needed to dance and he would be the photographer ;) These two are one of the couples you just know are fun, humble, and just filled with AWESOMENESS! Yes I said awesomeness. :) So not too long after they had the beautiful Payton! And she is cute as a button! But these 3 live in one of my favorite cities, St. Louis. So they have come up here for pictures and this time I got to go there for pictures! I can't wait to see them again! I am thinking for some belly pictures....hint hint!! Heidi and I go way back. She is one of the nicest people you can ever meet. Heidi is also the most honest and humble person I know, and I am honored to call her my friend.

So fast forward and she meets this ridiculously good looking guy named Jerry and they decide to get married. And they honor me by asking me to be their photographer, and not only are they entrusting me with their special day but they then invite my husband and daughter to join in the celebration. So we turned it into a weekend getaway. Enjoying St. Louis's wine country at Mt. Pleasant Winery in Augusta MO. Everything there was perfect, and the staff was amazing, if you are getting married in Missouri I highly recommend doing it here!

I loved this trip and after surviving a very crazy drive through Missouri back county I got to see one of the most beautiful vinyards east of California. I can only imagine was a CA vineyard looks like.

Thank you Jerry and Heidi, you are two beautiful souls that found each other and I know will share many many years of blessings. And thank you for allowing me to have my husband and daughter there to enjoy not only in my passion, but also a fun night or tearing it up on the dance floor! I don't think Sam will ever forget it, nor Boyce and I. Dancing the anniversary dance was so humbling, every wedding should do that, being able to be up there with so many other couples was inspiring.

This is a family I wish I could be related to. First off they are from Poland, and their sweet daughter speaks Polish, (can't get any more adorable right) and it all makes me yearn to go back to the days of spending Sundays at my great grandmas house. Where the smell of kloskis and ham filled the air.

Well this beautiful couple was blessed with another baby, this time an adorable little boy. Their daughter is a mini me of mom, and not sure who he is going to take after, but either route he is a lucky guy, both mom and dad are beautiful! And I have to admit this is one of my favorite shoots, because a lot of these pictures are real moments, and in my opinion, that beats fake smiles any day. Love ya guys!

I love showing up at a house and opening a door to big smiles from little my little clients. This weekend I got to photograph a little sister and her baby brother. First let me tell you that little girl, she will be a model, she just has to be, so watch for her. She has eyes that are so big and brown, beautiful hair, and a personality that shines like a star! Now let me tell you about her little brother, first you can see he also has those big brown eyes. But he wasn't so keen on getting his pictures taken, but then we found out his secret....he loves being naked!! You can tell once the clothes came off and this cutie pie was in all diaper he couldn't stop smiling!

Love it! And love them!!! I am keeping my fingers crossed I get to do their family pictures, because this is one beautiful family!

Simply put...I adore these two. Chuck is like my superhero friend, always saving the day for me and Yamilee, she is one of those people I just get tongue twisted around. First off she is beautiful, she has amazing style, and to top it off is a force, and by that I mean she has looks and brains! :) I love everything about these two, how they were best of friends, and after working together for so many years didn't realize the love they had for each other till one of them took a new position that was no longer at the same facility as the other. Then fate kept putting them in the same places...and it was then the two realized they couldn't be one without the other! I know, makes you feel all mushy inside right? Love it!!

This Weekend

I stayed in a hotel this weekend to host one of my events. This hotel is by far the best one I have ever stayed at, and I even brought my dog. You can see from the picture she loved the room.

I love this family!! (and their dog too!!!) This baby girl reminds me a lot of Sam during photoshoots, she has the best look, she can just stare right into the camera and she just captures your heart. She is going to be a heartbreaker when she gets older, she has a hot mom and a smoken dad, the world better watch out for this cutie pie!!

This peanut has one of those smiles that light up the room!! She was so much fun to work with, she loved showing us her toys and she was in love with Sam. It was too cute. And she is a really great dancer when she is ready to rock it out with Mickey Mouse! LOL!

I fell in love with this little guy the first second I laid eyes on him. Not only does he have the most beautiful eyes, but he has the best smile. I could have spent the entire day taking pictures of him. And I loved him mom and dad, I love creative parents, they already had some ideas ready to go. And their house was perfect to work in, a lot of natural light and big windows. And their house was simply AMAZING!! Dad is a builder and he built the place, it was one of those types of houses when you walk up to the front door, before you even go in, you're just like "wow". Thank you Schanchter family for having me over and letting us spend some time photographing your family!

I loved these two the first moment I met them. Patricia is an amazing artist, CLICK HERE to see her amazing work. And Daniel is a massage therapist, I think he would be perfect to take along to all my weddings so I can have massage breaks :)

Some words to describe these two are: in love, romantic, in love, creative, in love, passionate, in love, kind, in love, humble, in love, amazing, in love....did I mention in love? It's one of those loves that once you are in the room with them, you don't just see it, but you can feel it.

I have had such a busy month this November it has made it hard to keep up with blogging. And to top it off, majority of my Nov. shoots were for Holiday pictures so I couldn't post those. But to go with the theme of November I would like to tell you all what I am thankful for this month.

First off, I am thankful for all of you, because without all of you none of these would be possible.

Second off, I am thankful for all of the amazing opportunities I have been given, I have met many challenges, some positive and some negative, but all of them a learning experience.

I am thankful for the fact that I have a passion that I am able to share with people, when you see these pictures you are seeing a part of me. And even more thankful that my sweet Sam wants to be such a part of this.

And I am still thankful for all my family, my husband, our daughter, my mom, my dad, my sisters and brothers, my other mother, I love you all, and thank you for believing in me.

So not to go without a few pictures, here are a few gems I had kept hidden this Nov.

Wooden Spoon Bakery

So for Sam's birthday party I hired Wooden Spoon Bakery. Sam is really picky about her sweets, so I decided to put them to the test. I don't like most bakery desserts as they seem to be filled with a lot of preservatives, but these were not. They were fresh, and light, and very yummy.

I selected the funfetti batter, since that is Sam's favorite and then how could one not ask for the marshmallow frosting. Sam, Boyce and I don't care for frosting much, so I wanted something different. And these were a hit!

So if you are in the need of some baked goodies, cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and CHEESECAKES (YUM) make sure you give Wooden Spoon Bakery a call!

I loved this shoot, it was pretty cold out and she was so good about it all. It was a cold windy day and she pulled it off, I have the best clients!! I can not wait to finish these, they are all so good, I don't know how we are going to pick out ones for her book/printed ones.

I love these two! They came up from St. Louis for their shoot and I hope they love their pictures. This is a SMALL sneak peek compared to all the AMAZING shots from the day. I went with an aged color theme for the sneak peek, so I hope you enjoy the below pics.

If you don't want to order holiday cards you can go with the Candy Cane, maybe you even prefer to make you own cards or you have another card company, no worries, you have the option to purchase a digital file of your picture also.

And if you go with one of the card packages you have the ability to have complete control and can create the card online with my printing company, or if you would prefer I can create it. It is up to you!! See, options and simplicity!!

So just when you thought the fun was over I have a curve ball for all the families that attended the event. Are you ready.....ready for a fun contest? Ok here you go...

For any of the families that had pictures done at the event on Saturday you have till this Sunday at midnight to get as many comments on your pictures as possible. The family with the most comments on their pictures win....(drum roll please)......a FREE cd of all of their images from that day. Yes, I said FREE, this is a $100 value.

So here is the only rule, I will only count one comment per person. This means that if Uncle Bob comments four times on each of your pictures I will only count him one time.
